Growing up in the 80s, my sister LOVED Toto. I got wrapped up in the hair band thing tbh lol. All these years later and being an adult, I consider Africa one of the 5 best songs ever. And I’ve discovered their live albums, which are unbelievable. I tell my friends all the time, buy just one live Toto album because you gotta hear it.

I remember I was 13 years old when I first heard "Hold the line" on an AM radio in Viña del Mar Chile. Almost a child and that "riff" of the guitar at the beginning caught our attention. We have to help children today to discover and enjoy real music, to sing, to play an instrument. No to the "urban" garbage that massacres the wonder of music and destroys the brains of our young people!....thanks Toto Recuerdo que tenía 13 años cuando escuché por primera vez "Hold the line" en una radio AM de Viña del Mar Chile. Casi un niño y llamó la atención ese "riff" de la guitarra al inicio. Tenemos que ayudar a los niños de hoy en dia que descubran y disfruten música real y de verdad, que canten, que toquen un instrumento. No a la basura "urbana" que masacra la maravilla de la musica y destruye cerebros de nuestros jovenes!....gracias Toto

Africa…still one of the best songs ever recorded ❤ I was only 11 when this song was released but it hit my heart from the moment I heard it, and now, 42 years later, it is still one of my favourite songs of all time! ❤ BTW…love that Toto had a female conductor and that she was fully into the songs..singing along whilst conducting…fabulous! ❤ Those synth sounds were groundbreaking back in the day and are classic now. ❤ Hold The Line is another massive favourite of mine (to think I was only 7 when it was released but I latched onto it even back then!) - just look at that little girl in the audience singing along with fervour….that was me back in the day! 😂 Rosanna is still a favourite too. ❤
